1 | Loosen waistrail strip (2) from clamping elements (1). | Pry off waistrail strip only in area of clamping elements. To avoid damage use helper for removing waistrail strip. Remove damaged clamping elements. For this purpose lift retaining lug (3) over retaining pin with thin screwdriver and move clamping element away to side. | |

| Installing | ||
2 | Replace clamping element (1) | Place clamping element on retaining pin with flat side toward body, then move to side by tapping lightly with a hammer until the retaining lug catches. | |
3 | Mark position of clamping elements (1) | Mark clamping element position below side windows on body surface with chalk | |
4 | Position waistrail strip (2) | Position waistrail strip with aid of second person. | |
5 | Fasten waistrail strip (2) | Slightly press waistrail strip onto clamping element with ball of hand in marked area. Press on waistrail strip only in area of clamping elements. |
