Danger!

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove filler cap

Unscrew bolts for tank recess (2)

Bolt (a) is a dummy plug, do not screw out.

Installation: Grease bolts and tighten in crisscross pattern.

Pull fuel filler flap (1) off of tank filler fitting together with tank recess (2)

Installation: Position seal boot over tank filler fitting.Ensure that seal boot is seated correctly.

Remove tank recess (2) from fuel filler flap (1)

Installation: Ensure that sealing profile on tank recess (2) covers circumferential edge of fuel filler flap (1).

When installing, ensure that hole pattern is positioned correctly.

Install in the reverse order

Inspect

Check function of fuel filler flap (1) by opening and closing
