6 | Remove electrical connectors from license plate lamps and taillamps | ||
7 | Unclip switch for trunk lamp and disconnect electrical connectors | ||
8 | Unclip electrical wiring harness and pull wiring harness out together with CL line | Replace damaged clips | |
9 | Mark installation position of trunk lid on hinge levers | Facilitates assembly when installing | |
10 | Unscrew bolts from hinge levers | Cover hinge lever openings so that bolts cannot fall in | |
11 | Move trunk lid upward out of arresting hooks with aid of second person and lay down on suitable subsurface | When replacing trunk lid, before painting trunk lid perform seam sealing and after installing, preserve with cavity wax | |

12 | Insert trunk lid into arresting hooks with aid of 2nd person | ||
13 | Screw bolts into hinge levers | Observe installation position of trunk lid on hinge levers | |
14 | Check trunk lid fit | if necessary | |
Adjust trunk lid | |||
15 | Tighten bolts | | |
16 | Guide electrical wiring harness and CL line into trunk lid, route and fasten with clips | Replace damaged clips | |
17 | Install electrical connectors on license plate lamps and taillamps | ||
18 | Install electrical line on switch for trunk lid and clip in switch | ||
19 | Install CL line on trunk lid lock | ||
20 | Fasten electrical line on left hinge lever with clips | ||
21 | Install paneling on trunk lid | ||
22 | Install paneling on hinge lever | ||
23 | Clip bracket into trunk lid and insert warning triangle | ||
24 | Close trunk lid and check for proper function |
