Remove right side underfloor paneling

Cut cable ties at electrical connector (1)

 Installation: Cable ties must be replaced.

Disconnect electrical connector (1)

Pinch off fuel hoses (2) with clamping devices (3)

Detach fuel hoses (2) from auxiliary heater metering pump (M46/1)

Collect fuel which runs out in a suitable container

Close off fuel hoses (2) and exposed connections at auxiliary heater metering pump (M46/1)

 Record plug

Unscrew nuts (5)

 Installation: Note direction of installation.

Remove auxiliary heater metering pump (M46/1)

Install in the reverse order
