Remove and install stationary heater antenna

In the event of malfunctions to the stationary heater, diagnosis must be performed using the stationary heater diagnostic tool before any repairs are made

Remove/install

Remove trim on left A-pillar (5)

Remove trim in left footwell

Detach plug (1) of electrical line (3) on receiver (8)

Detach cable tie for fastening of electrical line (3) on electric wiring harness (6)

Detach electrical line (3) at A-pillar (5) and behind the headliner (4)

Expose electrical line (3)

Detach and remove telestart antenna (7) from windshield (2)

Installation: The bonding surface on the telestart antenna (7) and on the windshield (2) must be free of dust and grease.

If the telestart antenna (7) is to be reused, use a suitable double sided adhesive tape.

Install in the reverse order

Perform test run of stationary heater; in the event of malfunction connect stationary heater diagnostic tool and troubleshoot. Finally, delete the fault memory
