Remove/install

Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.

Unscrew nut of ground line (4) and remove ground line (4) from PTC heater booster (1).

 Nut, ground line to PTC heater booster

Unscrew nut of positive line (3) and remove positive line (3) from PTC heater booster (1).

 Nut, positive line to PTC heater booster

Disconnect electrical connection (2).

Remove screw (5).

Release PTC heater booster (1) at retaining tab (arrow A) and remove from air conditioner housing.


Firstly, completely pull out PTC heater booster (1) from air conditioner housing, then remove downwards.
Otherwise damage at the PTC heater booster (1) could occur.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Perform function test of PTC heater booster (1).
