Remove/install

Remove auxiliary heater control unit (8)

Only lift auxiliary heater control unit (8), do not disconnect lines.

Detach plug for glow pin connection lines (4) from auxiliary heater control unit (8)

Remove glow pin rubber grommet (5) and remove glow pin (6)

Pull glow pin screen (7) out of glow pin shaft

Installation: Position glow pin screen (7) so that cutout (arrow) is at a right angle in relation to the longitudinal axis of the heater unit. Carefully slide glow pin screen (7) into glow pin shaft until it reaches the end stop. After the glow pin screen (7) has been fully inserted, the ventilation bore (9) of the glow pin (6) must be accurately positioned in the cutout (arrow).
