Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed rooms or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves.

Remove/install

Lift vehicle on vehicle lift

Loosen hose clamp (3) and detach fuel line (4)

 Collect escaping fuel.
Seal fuel line (4) and connection to the fuel metering pump (2) with suitable   stop plugs.

 Record plug

Loosen hose clamp (5) and detach fuel line (6)

 Collect escaping fuel.
Seal fuel line (6) and connection to the fuel metering pump (2) with suitable   stop plugs.

 Record plug

Disconnect electrical connector (1)

Unscrew nut (7) and remove fuel metering pump (2)

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function test
