1 | Detach soundproofing beneath the transmission | ||
2 | Disconnect connectors (1) from fuel metering pump (5) | ||
3 | Remove cable tie (2). | ||
4 | Have a container ready to collect escaping fuel | ||
5 | Detach fuel line connector hoses (3, 4) from fuel metering pump (5) | ||
6 | Clamp off connector hoses (3, 4) to prevent fuel from escaping | ||
7 | Detach clamp (7) with fuel metering pump (5) from bracket | Note installation position of fuel metering pump. | |
8 | Remove clamp (7) from fuel metering pump (5) | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit | Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling. Allow heater unit to cool down after operation and wear protective gloves. | |
