Remove fluid reservoir (3)

 After completing the work at the open refrigerant circuit, the accumulator must be replaced.

Unclip clip (6)

Remove felt strip (8)

Disconnect roof double auxiliary fan connector (X64/14)

Route and lay electrical wiring harness (5) along bracket (2) toward front up to air grille (10)

Remove air grille (10)

Remove clamp (9) from bracket (2)

Remove screw/bolt (11) from refrigerant line (F)

Remove sealant (arrows) and unscrew nuts underneath

 Installation: Seal nuts with sealant (arrows).

White sealing compound, 310 ml, DBL 6069.20

Cut through sealant between left bracket (2) and roof paneling


Carefully cut through sealant.
Otherwise the paint can be damaged.

Detach left bracket (2) from roof paneling


Carefully remove left bracket (2).
Otherwise the paint can be damaged.

Remove bolt (13) of refrigerant line (E)

Remove refrigerant line (E) at condenser of condenser unit (1)



Compressor oils (specification 362.0)

 Installation: Attach refrigerant line (E) with new sealing ring. Coat sealing ring with compressor oil.

Close off opening at condenser of condenser unit (1) and at refrigerant line (E) with stop plugs

 Record plug

Remove air grille (15)

Unscrew nut (16) at strut (14)

Remove sealant above nuts (17) and unscrew nuts (17)

Remove bolt (18) of refrigerant line (F)

Remove sealing ring at refrigerant line (F)



Compressor oils (specification 362.0)

 Installation: Attach new sealing ring. Coat sealing ring with compressor oil.

Seal opening at refrigerant line (F) using stop plug

 Record plug

Cut through sealant between right bracket (2) and roof paneling


Carefully cut through sealant.
Otherwise the paint can be damaged.

Detach right bracket (2) from roof paneling

Remove condenser unit (1)

 Helper required.

 Installation: Determine the amount of compressor oil remaining in the condenser of the removed condenser unit (1). Add same amount of new compressor oil when filling air conditioning of refrigerant circuit.

Remove the rest of the sealant

 Installation: Apply sealant to contact surfaces.

White sealing compound, 310 ml, DBL 6069.20
