1 | Remove cover below instrument panel on right | ||
2 | Pull out floor covering at side of right footwell (1) behind instrument panel and center console and fold to one side | Installation: Ensure that floor covering at side of right footwell (1) behind instrument panel and center console is seated correctly. | |
3 | Place sound deadening mat under instrument panel aside | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) on the right blending air flap actuator motor (M2/7) | ||
5 | Remove bolts (3) from right blending air flap actuator (M2/7) using cordless drill/driver | Prevent screws (3) from falling. | |
Rechargeable battery-powered drill/screwdriver | |||
6 | Remove right blending air flap actuator (M2/7) from A/C housing (4) | Installation: When the right blending air flap actuator (M2/7) is replaced, the position of the right blend air flap has to be adjusted with the aid of the power adapter (5) to the position of the actuating drive in the right blending air flap actuator (M2/7). | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Synchronize the actuator motors | Menu item, Actuation, Normalization of actuator motors. | |
