Remove/install

Loosen stowage box and move toward rear until screws (1) are accessible

 The electrical connectors under the floor panel need not be disconnected.

Remove/install stowage compartment

Unscrew screws (1) and detach air duct holder (2)

Remove bottom section of dashboard on driver's side

Detach left rear passenger compartment air duct (3) and right rear passenger compartment air duct (4) from rear passenger compartment air duct connection (5)

Remove insulation mat (6) and detach adhesive pad (7)

Remove rear passenger compartment air duct connection (5) from air conditioner housing (8)

Release electrical connectors (9) from holder (10) and remove

Disconnect electrical connection (11)

Release remaining plug of electrical connector (11) from holder (10) and remove

Guide rear passenger compartment air duct connection (5) between electrical and optical wiring harnesses


Note correct routing of electrical and optical wiring harnesses:
Otherwise there may be damage to the electrical and optical wiring harnesses caused by bending.

Disconnect electrical connection (12)

Unscrew screws (13) and remove left rear passenger compartment air mixing flap actuator motor (M16/30) from air conditioner housing (8)

Instructions for installing actuator motors

AH83.10-P-0001-01R

 The front, left screw (13) is more accessible from the left footwell by folding the front left floor covering (14).

 Installation: Check condition of adjusting mechanism. If damaged, remove the corresponding part from the kinematics parts kit. When replacing the left
rear passenger compartment air mixing flap actuator motor (M16/30), the position of the drive shaft of the left rear passenger compartment air mixing flap must be aligned to the position of the actuator motor on the left rear passenger compartment air mixing flap actuator motor (M16/30).

Install in the reverse order

Synchronize the actuator motors


