Remove/install

Remove panel from respective A-pillar

Remove panel from respective A-pillar and let it hang down on its check strap

Unscrew bolt (3)

Unclip cover (2) to rear and remove

Installation: Check guide of cover (2) is correctly positioned on instrument panel.

Remove bolts (4)

Remove air vent (1) far enough to the rear to gain access to the electrical connector (5)

When the left air vent (1) is to be removed.

Release and disconnect electrical connection (5)

When the left air vent (1) is to be removed.

Remove air vent (1) to rear

When the right air vent (1) is to be removed.

Place air vent (1) on clean base and remove screws/bolts (7)

When the left air vent (1) or the light switch (6) is replaced.

Remove light switch (6)

When the left air vent (1) or the light switch (6) is replaced.

Remove height adjustment device for headlamp range adjustment

except code LG0 (Bi-xenon headlamps)
except code LG1 (Bi-xenon headlamps with cornering function)
When the left air vent (1) or the height adjustment device is replaced.

Install in the reverse order

Check

Run function test on air vent (1)

Run function test on light switch (6)

When the left air vent (1) or the light switch (6) is replaced.

Run function test on height adjustment device for headlamp range adjustment
