Check whether water drain (1) is installed.

 If not, perform repair work.

Repair

Remove battery

Shorten new water drain (1) 6 mm

 Cut along dotted line.

Remove grommet from body opening (arrow b)

Drill fitting (2.2) on heater housing (2) with 8 mm drill bit.

 Maintain drilling depth (a) of 55 mm.

If the drilling depth (a) is too shallow, water draining is not guaranteed, if the drilling depth (a) is too deep, the heater box (2) can be damaged.

Remove drilling shavings.

Slide water drain (1) onto fitting (2.2) on heater housing (2) and align in relation to retainer (arrow c).

Insert grommet (1.1) on water drain (1) into body opening (arrow b)

Install battery
