1 | Lift vehicle on lifting platform. | ||
2 | Remove inner fender in right front fender | ||
3 | Unplug electrical connectors (1, 3) | ||
4.1 | Separate electrical connector (2) | Only on vehicles with code (600) Headlamp cleaning system | |
5 | Detach washer fluid hose (4) from the windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) | Collect washer fluid which flows out. | |
6 | Unclip bracket (5) from washer fluid reservoir (6) | ||
7 | Using mounting wedge, press windshield washer fluid pump (M5/1) from washer fluid reservoir (6) | Note correct installation positions. | |

Installation: Replace gasket (7). | |||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Fill washer fluid reservoir (6) | ||
| Check windshield washing unit fluid level, top up if necessary | ||
10 | Check windshield washer system for proper function | ||
