Risk of injury due to becoming trapped and crushed , in extreme cases one can have their limbs cut off when touching on the windshield wiper mechanism

When working on the windshield wiper always remove the ignition key.

Remove the key from the contact/start switch

Release the protective cover (1) using a mounting wedge

Using a mounting wedge, release the protective cover (1).

Loosen the nut (2) and remove the windshield wiper arm

To release the windshield wiper arm from the cogged cone to the drive shaft, rotate it slightly to the right and to the left in alternating movements.

Install in reverse order

Adjust the drive device of the windshield wiper
