Remove/install

Remove cover (1) at respective headlamp

See Owner's Manual.

Turn adjustment screw (2) a few revolutions clockwise

This enables the easier removal of the ball head (4) from the guide (5).

Release right headlamp range adjustment actuator motor (E2m1) or left headlamp range adjustment actuator motor (E1m1)

Depending on the side of vehicle, the lock (3) is at the right or left on the headlamp. Release corresponding lock (3) and turn right headlamp range adjustment actuator motor (E2m1) to the right or left headlamp range adjustment actuator motor (E1m1) to the left.

Remove right headlamp range adjustment actuator motor (E2m1) or left headlamp range adjustment actuator motor (E1m1)

To do so, unhook ball head (4) from guide (5) and disconnect electrical connector.

Installation: Make sure that ball head (4) is hooked correctly in guide (5).

Install in the reverse order

Perform function test of headlamp range adjustment
