When the display (C) appears on the HHT, the coded random number has been recognized as correct and the first transponder key is learned in.

For each additional transponder key to be learned in, repeat steps 3 through 13.

If more than one key is learned in, the control module shut-off delay (duration approx. 2 minutes) should be completed before the next key can be learned in.However, if the next key is nevertheless learned in the HHT indicates "Key already learned in".

The vehicle starts in this phase with the key which is not yet learned in.When the ignition is switched off, the vehicle can no longer be started with this key.

For this reason it is necessary to learn in the key again in this case.
