1 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery | ||
2 | Remove lower engine compartment paneling | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) from ATA signal horn (H3) | ||

Risk of injury from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning from inhaling welding gases | Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly flammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system. | |
4 | Screw commercially available nut to threaded bolt on ATA horn (H3) and weld with two tack weld spots to theft-proof nut (2) | ||
5 | Unscrew commercially available nut with theft-proof nut (2) | Installation: Use new theft-proof nut (2). | |

7 | Remove protection bracket from new ATA signal horn (H3) | When replacing ATA horn (H3), if a protection bracket is not installed on the ATA horn (H3) to be replaced. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
