H3/1 Alarm signal horn with additional battery

Remove/install

Switch off ignition and leave transmitter key in EIS [EZS] control unit.

On vehicles without code (889) Keyless go

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from vehicle transmitter range

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless go

Remove rear fender liner on left front fender

Turn front wheels to left

Unscrew nuts (1)

Replace nuts (1).

Remove alarm siren with additional battery (H3/1) and bracket (2) until the electrical connector (4) is accessible

Remove cable ties (3)

Installation: Replace cable tie (3).

Disconnect electrical connector (4)

Unscrew screw (5) and remove alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1) from mount (2)

Screwdriver bit for internal Torx bolt with pin guide

Install in the reverse order
