Removal, installation

Disconnect ground lead from battery

Installation: -Code radio.
-Set clock.

Remove right air nozzle (1)

Remove paneling on right below dashboard

4.1

Remove cable strap (3) from protective bag (2)

Only with code G40 (automatic transmission).

Installation: Replace cable strap (3).

5.1

Disconnect connector (A4.1) from ETC control module (A4)

Only with code G40 (automatic transmission).

For this purpose, release locking bow on combination plug (4).

Installation: Insert combination plug (4) at rear (arrows), lock connector (A4.1) by pressing locking bow down.

Extend mount with engine control module

With code G40 (automatic transmission) do not damage electric wires.

With code G40 (automatic transmission) 2 control modules are fastened to the same mount

Connectors can remain installed on engine control module.

Disconnect connectors (A8.1, A8.2) from central locking control module (A8)

Remove central locking control module (A8) from mount

Pull central locking control module (A8) out of lower section of instrument panel together with associated mount

Remove central locking control module (A8) from mount

Install in opposite order
