Checking and adjusting the soft top support (3) is shown on the left side of the vehicle on model 209.4 by way of example.

Use screws (2) to firmly attach the locating tool to the body.

The locating device is used instead of the locating tool on model 207.4.
The locating device is attached to the body using only one screw (2).
Place the locating device flat on the beltline.

Pull the locating pin (1) out of the locating tool.

Pull the locating tool apart and slide it onto the mounting bolts (5) on the soft top support (3).

Fix the locating tool in place using the locating pin (1).

If the locating tool cannot be fixed in place using the locating pin (1), the soft top support (3) must be adjusted.

Loosen the screws (4), adjust the soft top support (3) using the locating tool, and tighten the screws (4) on the soft top support (3).

Only if the soft top support (3) needs to be adjusted.
