Remove/install

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit

On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove overhead control panel

Do not separate connectors. Only disconnect ribbon cable to prevent damage.

Disconnect electrical connector (1) from tilting/sliding roof drive (SR) M12

Loosen screw (2)

Remove tilting/sliding roof (SR) drive unit (M12)

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install tilting/sliding roof motor
