Modification notes
| Removing | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury from pinching and crushing when working on the folding door and the folding door control system | When working on the folding door or folding door control, relieve pressure from system with emergency lever (off position).
1 | Remove grab bar | ||
2 | Remove paneling from folding door control
3 | Remove 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142) from folding door
4 | Remove protective cap (1).
5 | Remove electrical connector (2) from 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142)
Adjust | |||
6 | Connect compressed air supply line with pressure reducing valve to compressed air connection (3) of 6 bar pressure switch (S142) | Adjust pressure to 0 bar.
7 | Connect multimeter (7) to electrical contacts (6) on 6 bar pressure switch (S142)
8 | First turn adjustment screw (4), then turn adjustment disk (5) counterclockwise to stop to position "0" | The multimeter (7) must display a reading of more than 30 kΩ.
9 | Adjust lower shift point on 6 bars pressure switch (S142) | Adjust pressure to 3 bars, then slowly turn adjustment screw (4) clockwise. The lower shift point is adjusted as soon as the reading drops suddenly below 5 Ω.
10 | Check adjusted lower shift point of 6 bar pressure switch (S142) | Increase pressure to over 3 bars. The reading must increase to over 30 kΩ.
Adjust pressure precisely to 3 bars The reading must drop below 5 Ω. if necessary:
Again adjust lower shift point on 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142) and check.
11 | Preadjust upper shift point on 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142) | Turn adjustment bolt (5) one 3/4 turn clockwise and do not hold adjustment screw (4).
12 | Adjust upper shift point on 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142) | Slowly increase pressure to precisely 6 bars. The upper shift point is adjusted correctly, if the reading increases suddenly to a value over 30 kΩ at a pressure of precisely 6 bars, if necessary:
Readjust upper shift point by adjusting adjustment screw (5 )
13 | Check function of 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142) | Slowly increase pressure of 0 bar to 6 bars and then slowly lower to 3 bars. Check corresponding readings. 0 bar: Measurement < 5 Ω 6 bars: Measurement >30 kΩ 3 bars: Measurement <5 Ω
if necessary: | |||
Readjust lower and upper shift point on 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142).
14 | Remove multimeter (7)
15 | Disconnect compressed air supply system from 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142)
| Install | ||
16 | Install protective cap (1)
17 | Install electrical connector (2) on 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142)
18 | Install 6 bar pressure switch ( (S142) on folding door
19 | Install paneling on folding door control
20 | Install retaining rod |
Check values for door control
