S20/1 Drive power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group

Remove/Install

Remove front door lining (1)

Driver side.

Lay door lining front side down on suitable subsurface to prevent damage!

Separate insulating mat (2) from front door lining (1) (arrow A) until driver power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group (S20/1) is accessible

Installation: Position glue points (e.g. with thermoplastic adhesive gun) and fasten sound deadening mat (2) to front door lining (1).

Disconnect electrical connector (4)

Treat ribbon cable carefully to prevent damage

The connector lock is on the side of the door lining

Remove bolts (3)

Loosen clips (5), remove driver power window and outside mirror adjustment switch group (S20/1)

Removal: Press clips (5) together for unclipping (arrows B).

Installation: Ensure that clips (5) are seated correctly

Install in the reverse order

Check power window and outside mirror adjustment for proper function
