1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS [EZS] control unit | On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press keyless go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m). | |
2 | Open tailgate | ||
3 | Loosen metal clips (6) at top of paneling (1) with long wedge (3) and remove paneling (1) | Installation: First position paneling (1) with retaining lugs, then press onEnsure that all metal clips (6) arrest. | |

4 | Disconioect electrical connector from RWTS switch (S62/26) and remove paneling (1) | ||
5 | Release clips (4) and remove RWTS button (S62/26) | ||
