Remove tailgate (3)

The door hinge for tailgate (1) remains on the roof frame.
Position tailgate (3) on suitable subsurface
Avoid damaging paint, if necessary clean hinge contact surfaces, grind and finish paint consisting of primer (corrosion protection), basic paint and top coat paint.

Mark installation position for tailgate door hinge (1) on roof frame

Facilitates removal and installation.

Unscrew screws (2) and remove tailgate door hinge (1)

Avoid damaging paint, if necessary clean hinge contact surfaces, grind and finish paint consisting of primer (corrosion protection), basic paint and top coat paint.
