Adjusting gap dimension
1 Loosen bolts (1) from liftgate hinges.
2 Adjust gap dimension by moving liftgate in direction of arrow (A).
The gap dimension should be uniform over the entire circumference of the liftgate.
3 Tighten bolts (1) after adjusting gap dimension.
Adjusting flatness
4 Loosen bolts (2) from liftgate hinges.
5 Adjust flatness in upper liftgate area by moving liftgate in direction of arrow (B).
The rubber seal (3) should make complete contact with the upper vehicle paneling.
6 Tighten bolts (2) after adjusting flatness.
7 Check locking function, easy motion and tightness of liftgate.
