Removing

Removing inner paneling (1) from hinged door

Removing door handle lower part from inner paneling (1)

Remove door handle lower part by unscrewing six attaching screws.

Making drilling template

Make drilling template according to hole pattern of new door handle (2).

Drilling inner paneling of hinged door for mounting modified door handle (2)

Use drilling template to mark the hole pattern on the inner paneling (1) of the hinged door.
The drilling template is aligned using the indent on the rear of the inner paneling (1).

Drilling door handle (2) for mounting lever (3)

Drill marked mounting bore for the lever (3) in the door handle (2) using
2.4 mm drill bit to a depth of at most

12 mm.
If necessary, use suitable spacer.

Installing

Mounting door handle (2) on inner paneling (1)

Attach door handle (2) to the inner paneling (1) using four sheet metal screws.

Mounting inner paneling (1) on hinged door

Installing lever (3) on door handle (2)

Attach lever (3) to the door handle (2) using a sheet metal screw.

Mounting large cover on door handle (2)

Except vehicles with code (FS3) electrically adjustable mirror, co-driver's side, with code (FS9) electrically adjustable mirror, driver's side.
