Remove/install center door

Remove

1

Open center door

 Before opening and closing the center door open front and rear door. The center door should be slammed, not pushed closed.

Remove door vapor seal (1) and door foil

Unclip protective tubing (2) from B1-S-pillar

Disconnect door locking cable and electrical connectors from center door and route through wiring duct (3)

Unscrew screws (4) from door holder on body

6

Unscrew nuts (5) from door hinges

 Remove door with aid of second person, avoid damaging paint.

Lift rear door and remove upward, simultaneously pull door lock control cable out of center door through wiring duct (3) together with electrical lines

Set down center door

 Avoid damage to paintwork.



Install



When replacing a door, perform seam sealing and cavity preservation.

Install center door

 Install center door with aid of second person, avoid damaging paint.

Screw nuts (5) to door hinge



Screw screws for door holder strap (4) to body



Route door locking cable and electrical connectors for center door through wiring duct (3) and connect

Clip protective tubing (2) to B1-S-pillar

Glue on door foil and door vapor seal (1)

 Ensure that door foil and door vapor seals are glued properly onto door panel. Replace butyl cords, door foil and door vapor seals, if required.

Close center door

 Before opening and closing the center door open front and rear door. The center door should be slammed, not pushed closed.

Following installation, check gaps all the way around.

 Gaps on hoods, doors and lids

AR60.00-P-0700-01MP

 Adjust center door, if required.
