Removal/installation

Remove door lining from left or right rear door

Loosen insulating mat from left rear door Keyless go control unit (N69/8) or right rear door Keyless go control unit (N69/9) and disconnect electrical connector (2)

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless go

Loosen door foil (3) from inner door panel (6) and fasten to rear door with suitable masking tape

 Loosen door foil (3) only until electric wiring harness (4) is accessible. Refer to:

Remove door foil from rear door

Unclip clips (5) from inner door panel (6) and expose electric wiring harness (4)

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless go

 Installation: Ensure that electric wiring harness (4) is routed correctly

Remove outer rear door handle

Remove seals (7) from rear door on outside

 Installation: Observe installation position of seals (7) outside of rear door

Loosen screws (8)



Remove bearing bracket (1) toward front and remove from rear door

Remove screws (8)

When replacing bearing brackets (1).

Install in the reverse order

Check lock system for proper function
