X35/3 Left rear door separation point

X35/4 Right rear door separation point

2 Protective hose

3 Bolt

Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or pinched when Remove/install or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Open rear door (1)

Loosen protective tube (2) from B-pillar

Remove left rear door separation point (X35/3) and right rear door separation point (X35/4) from B-pillar and disconnect

Unscrew bolts (3)

Remove rear front door (1) upward from door hinges and install in assembly device of door or lay down on suitable surface.

Do not handle front door (1) improperly, otherwise paintwork may be damaged.
