2 | Remove actuating cylinder for folding door (7) | ||
3 | Disconnect door control unit connector (X88.3) | Only if door control unit connector (X88.3) is present. | |
4 | Remove pressure wave hose (3) from pressure wave switch (S128) | Mark connection fitting for pressure wave hose (3) on pressure wave switch (S128). | |
5 | Expose pressure wave hose (3) and fasten to rotating pillar (11) on folding door. | ||
6 | Loosen door seal (6) in upper area from retaining rails | ||
7 | Remove retaining rails (4) | ||
8 | Remove eccentric shaft with guide roller (1) for folding door (7) | ||
9 | Remove upper pivot bearing (9) from roof frame | ||
10 | Remove folding door (7) | Tilt open folding door (7) into cab at an angle and pry pivot bearing on rotating pillar (11) out of pivot bearing (10).. | |

11 | Check eccentric with guide roller (1) and bearing on rotating pillar (11) for wear and damage. | Replace any damaged parts. | |
12 | Check journals on upper lever of rotating pillar (11) and joint end on piston rod on actuating cylinder for wear. | Replace any damaged parts. | |

13 | Transfer folding door (7) | Only when replacing folding door (7). | |
14 | Install folding door (7). | Tilt open folding door (7) into cab at an angle and insert pivot bearing on rotating pillar (11) into lower pivot bearing (10). | |
Grease lower pivot bearing (10). | |||
15 | Install upper pivot bearing (9) on roof frame | Tighten bolts hand-tight only. | |
16 | Check installation height of folding door (7). | The installation height is adjusted correctly, when the lower seal strip has sufficient clearance between the step and the entrance, if applicable: | |
Remove upper pivot bearing (9), adjust installation height between upper pivot bearing (9) and roof frame with aid of adjustment disks and reinstall upper pivot bearing (9). | |||
17 | Tighten bolts on upper pivot bearing (9) | | |
18 | Install eccentric shaft with guide roller (1) on folding door (7) | ||
19 | Install retaining rail (4) | ||
20 | Install door seal (6) | Use liquid lubricant. | |
21 | Install pressure wave hose (3) on pressure wave switch (S128) | Observe marking on connection fitting. Route pressure wave hose (3) without chafing and ensure that pressure wave hose (3) is seated correctly on connection fitting. | |
22 | Connect door control unit connector (X88.3) | Only if door control unit connector (X88.3) is present. | |
Route electrical line without chafing. | |||
23 | Install actuating cylinder for folding door (7) | ||
24 | Check installation depth of folding door (7) and adjust if applicable |
