Removal/installation

Move window in front door to uppermost position

 See Operating Instructions

Remove front door

Unscrew bolt (4) from cover (1)

Unclip catch hook (5) and loosen cover (1)

Loosen cover (1) in bottom area of guides (6) and remove

 Installation:When installing cover (1) ensure that wiring harness is routed properly.

Unscrew bolt (arrow) from door liner (3)

Unscrew bolt (10) from door liner (3) in area of door lock

 The bolt (10) of the door liner (3) is located above the bolts of the door lock.

Disconnect electrical connector (7) from left front power window motor (M10/3) or right front power window motor (M10/4)

Pull retaining clip (8) toward rear until retainer of electrical connector (9) can be pressed in.

Disconnect electrical connector (9)

 Press in retainer for unlocking electrical connector (9)

Loosen door liner (3) from tubular frame (2) from top to bottom

 Installation: Check retaining clips, replace if necessary

Slide door liner (3) upward out of guide of tubular frame (2)

Door liner (3) is guided in area of inner sealing rail.

 Installation: Install door liner (3) from top into guide of tubular frame (2)

Remove door liner until cable (12) and Bowden cable (11) are accessible

Unclip Bowden cable (11) from door lock

Unhook cable (12) from door lock

Remove door liner (3)

Install in the reverse order
