Remove

Remove front door lining (1)

Lay door lining front side down on suitable subsurface to prevent damage!

Separate sound deadening mat (3) from front door lining (1) and fold over (arrow) until pins (4) in trim strip (2) are accessible.

Bend open clamping plates (5) with suitable screwdriver and remove from pins (4)

Raise front door lining (1) and remove trim strip (2)

Install

Insert trim strip (2) into front door lining (1)

Ensure that trim strip is seated correctly on door lining.

Press clamping plates (5) over pins (4) of trim strip (2)

Replace clamping plates (5) Use 11 mm socket wrench bit with suitable handle The clamping plates (5) should make firm contact with front door lining (1)

Glue sound deadening mat (3) to front door lining (1)

Position glue points (e.g. with thermoplastic adhesive gun) and fasten sound deadening mat (3) to front door lining (1).

Install front door lining (1)
