Remove

Remove left and right outside mirror.

Pry off sealing frame (2) on the inside and press outward together with the fixed pulley (1) and remove.

 Helper required.

Remove fixed pulley (1) from the sealing frame (2).



Install

4

Install fixed pulley (1) in the sealing frame (2).

Coat sealing frame (2) with lubricant.

Insert pull cord (4) in the sealing frame (2).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Pulling cord

Position fixed pulley (1) with the sealing frame (2) on the front door (3) and press on.

 Helper required.
The loose ends of the pull cord (4) must point into the vehicle interior.

Pull out pull cord (4) inward out of the sealing frame (2).

 Helper required.

9

Check that the fixed pulley (1) and sealing frame (2) are seated correctly in the front door (3).

10

Install left and right outside mirror.
