2 | Open roof hatch and remove edge protection strip (10) | ||
3 | Remove left and right roof arch covering (9) | ||
4 | Remove center curtain rail (1) | ||
5 | Remove retaining clips below center curtain rail (1) on front headliner (3) | Pulling hook | |
6 | Remove curtain rails (4, 7) | For this purpose unclip curtain rails (4, 7) from retaining clips. | |
7 | Remove sun visors (5, 6) | ||
8 | Detach seal (8) on left and right in area of front headliner (3) | ||
9 | Remove A-pillar trim on passenger side | ||
10 | Disconnect electrical connectors on roof wiring harness in footwell on passenger side | ||
11 | Remove roof wiring harness on A-pillar on passenger side | ||
12 | Remove A-pillar trim on driver side | ||
13 | Disconnect electrical connectors on roof wiring harness in footwell on driver side | ||
14 | Remove roof wiring harness on A-pillar on driver side | ||
15 | Remove retaining clips (2) on front headliner (3) | Pulling hook | |
16 | Remove retaining clips all the way around on front headliner (3) and remove front headliner (3) | ||
17 | Disconnect electrical connector for front mirror heater | ||
18 | Disconnect electrical connector from right and left front clearance lamp | ||
19 | Disconnect electrical connectors on roof wiring harness from connected components on cab roof and remove roof wiring harness on cab roof | If present. | |
20 | Guide roof wiring harness on right and left between A-pillar and instrument panel from bottom upward | ||
21 | Remove rear headliner (3) | The electrical equipment and roof electrical wiring harness remain on the front headliner (3). | |
22 | Install in the reverse order |
