Remove upper paneling (9) from left and right A-pillar

Open roof hatch on both sides

Only on vehicles with code (D25) Roof hatch/vent flap.

Remove cover from sliding roof motor/tilting roof motor

Only on vehicles with code (D27) Electric steel tilting/sliding roof.

Disconnect electrical connector from controller unit on sliding roof motor/tilting roof motor

Only on vehicles with code (D27) Electric steel tilting/sliding roof.

Remove edge protection strip (5)

Remove grab handle (7) above passenger door

Unscrew bolts (1) on both stowage compartments (2)

Remove sun visors (10)

Remove clips (4).

Remove left position lamp (E12) and right position lamp (E13)

Disconnect roof connector (X18.1)

Remove multicontour connector (11)

Remove roof electric wiring harness from
right A-pillar

Loosen door seal (8) in area of right and left front paneling (3)

Remove front headliner (3)
