Remove/install

1

Remove right door sill trim.

Only when removing the bottom trim from the A-pillar on the front passenger side.

Do not unhook cable.

Remove left door sill trim.

Only when removing the bottom trim (2) from the A-pillar on the driver's side.

Do not unhook cable.

Remove display for MirrorCam.

Only for vehicles with code F6T (MirrorCam).

Remove housing of the driver tweeter (B53) or the front passenger tweeter (B54).

Disconnect electrical connector from the driver tweeter (B53) or from the front passenger tweeter (B54).

Disconnect electrical connector from the cornering assistant indicator lamp.

Only for vehicles with code S1R (cornering assistant).
Only on the front passenger side.

The indicator lamp is integrated in the housing of the front passenger tweeter (B54).

Remove grab bar from the top A-pillar.

If only the top trim (1) is removed.

Remove grab bar from the A-pillar.

If the top and bottom trim (1, 2) are removed.

Release door seal (4) from the A-pillar.

Remove top trim (1) from the A-pillar.

The top trim (1) is fastened at four attachment points (A) with clips.

Remove bottom trim for instrument panel on front passenger side.

Only when removing the bottom trim from the A-pillar on the front passenger side.

Remove left footwell cover on the driver's side.

Only when removing the bottom trim (2) from the A-pillar on the driver's side.

Remove side trim (3) from the instrument panel.

Only when removing the bottom trim (2) from the A-pillar.

Remove bottom trim (2) from the A-pillar.

The bottom trim (2) is inserted at the top with a retaining lug underneath the top trim (1).

Install in the reverse order
