Risk of injury from being trapped in the swivel range of steered axles

Ensure that no persons or objects are in the swivel range of all steered axles when turning the steering wheel. Do not stand in the swivel range of the additional steering axle when the engine is running.

Remove/install

Position steering wheel in straight-ahead position

Remove ignition key

Position steering column to lowest position

4

Remove upper cover (1) from connecting part (2)

Fabric connecting part (2) is clipped into upper cover (1).

Remove upper cover (1) from lower cover (3)

6

Remove lower cover (3) from boot (4) and steering column

Lower cover (3) is clipped onto boot (4).

7

Install in the reverse order
