Remove/install

Move steering column to rear-most position (in direction of driver's seat)

Unclip cover (7) of trim (6) at hinged cover (3)

 Mounting wedge

Detach cover (8) at hinged cover (3)

 The fan-like cover (8) forms a unit together with upper cover (4) and is guided in hinged cover (3).

Remove upper cover (4)

 Upper cover (4) is clipped onto lower cover (5).

Move steering column to foremost position (towards instrument panel)

Insert a punch into bore (2) on left and right at hinged cover (3), press onto respective retaining lug (1) and remove hinged cover (3)

Remove lower cover (5)

Install in the reverse order
