| Removal, installation | ||
1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | ||
2 | Completely remove curtain rails (10) on left and right | ||
3 | Remove roof stowage compartment with carrier frame | ||
4 | Pull cover for electric sliding roof (1) off of retaining tabs (2) in direction of arrow, then unhook retaining lugs (3) from recesses (4) | Installation: first hook cover in at top with retaining lugs in recesses, then slide lower retaining mounts onto retaining tabs | |
5 | Remove molding strip on roof cutout | ||
6 | Pry dome lamp (5) out of headliner | ||
7 | Disconnect electric connector and remove dome lamp | ||
8 | Pry reading lamp (6) out at bottom, then unhook at top | ||
9 | Disconnect electric connector and remove reading lamp | ||
10 | Remove grab handle (7) | ||
11 | Loosen profile gasket for door cutout (11) in upper area | ||
12 | Remove side molding (8) | Installation: insert molding into curtain rail profile. | |
13 | Remove curtain rail for rest area (9) | ||
14 | Remove spreading anchors at front roof frame connection | ||
15 | Remove front section of headliner | ||
16 | Reinstall in opposite order |
