Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove warning triangle from warning triangle bracket (4).

Remove warning triangle bracket (4).

Unclip handle strip (3); release and disconnect electrical connectors.


Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This causes damage to the electric lines.

 The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

Remove handle strips (3).

Unclip retaining clips (5).

Remove hinge covers (1).

Release trim (2) of the trunk lid until the electrical connector of the inside trunk actuation is accessible.

Release and disconnect electrical connector of the inside trunk actuation.

Remove trim (2) of the trunk lid.
