9 Paneling on trunk lid

4 Bolts

5 Door lock paneling

Remove/Install

Danger!

Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or pinched when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Open trunk lid

Unlock hazard warning triangle (1) and remove.

Lift retaining clamp (2) with a suitable tool

Slide bracket (3) to the left and remove.

Remove bolts (4).

Unlock door lock paneling (5) and remove

Remove expanding clip (6)

Open retaining tabs and remove hinge lever cover (7) on both sides

Remove spreading clips (8)

10

Remove paneling at trunk lid (9)

11

Install in the reverse order
