Remove left and/or right front trim at B-pillar

 Lower trim.

Remove edge guard (2) in area of upper trim (1)

Unscrew screw (3) and remove window airbag check strap (4)

 Observe installation position of window airbag check strap (4).

Remove retaining clips (5) from B-pillar using assembly wedge

 Mounting wedge

Unclip clips (6) from B-pillar using assembly wedge

 Mounting wedge

Remove upper trim (1) downwards from clip (7) at B-pillar



Install

Remove clip (7) from B-pillar and insert in upper trim (1)

 Replace damaged clip (7).

Position upper trim (1) at B-pillar and clip in

 Ensure upper trim (1) is correctly seated at roof lining (arrow). Replace damaged clips (6).

Mount retaining clips (5) on B-pillar

 Replace damaged retaining clips (5).

Insert window airbag check strap (4) into groove of upper trim (1)

Tighten window airbag check strap (4) with screw (3) on B-pillar

 Bolt for windowbag check strap

Install edge guard (2)

Attach left and/or right front trim to B-pillar
