Remove/install paneling on B-pillar

Move front seat forward

 See Operator's Manual

Remove door sill molding

 Left or right side.

Remove edge guard in area of B-pillar on rear door

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard is seated correctly.

Remove air outlet (5) with suitable tool

 Removal: The air outlet is fastened with 4 catches (6).Pull catches (6) toward inside with suitable tool and remove air outlet

Unclip cover (3)

Unscrew bolt (4)

Remove paneling (13) from front seat

Unscrew bolt (15) from belt end fitting (14) and remove belt end fitting (14)

 Installation: Ensure that seat belt does not twist and that the arresting lug (16) is seated correctly in the guide.



Remove edge guard in area of B-pillar from front door

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard is seated correctly.

Unclip upper B-pillar paneling (1)

 Install seat belt through belt height adjustment paneling (9)

 Removal: Position mounting wedge directly to clips (arrows)

 Installation: Ensure that upper guide (10), lower guide (11) and belt height adjustment paneling (9) are seated correctly on belt height adjustment (12).

Unclip lower B-pillar paneling (2)

 Installation: Position mounting wedge directly to clips (arrows)

 Installation: Slide guide (8) on lower B-pillar paneling (2) into mount (7).
