Remove/install

Remove rear seat backrest

Remove left and right head restraint in rear.

Remove left and right C-pillar paneling.

Unclip cover (3) from rear shelf paneling (1).

Unclip carefully; danger of breaking fastening shackles on cover (3).

Remove expansion clips (2, 4)

Expose rear window blind motor connector and disconnect.

With code (540) Electric rear window roller blind

The rear window blind motor connector is located between the rear shelf paneling (1) and the inner C-pillar.

Expose center high-mounted stop lamp connector and disconnect.

The center high-mounted stop lamp connector is located between the rear shelf paneling (1) and the left C-pillar.

Lift rear shelf paneling (1) and pull out toward front.

Remove upper paneling (5) in trunk.

Unscrew screws (6) and nuts (7)

Remove bass module speaker from rear shelf.

Remove paneling (8)

Remove left and right mount (9)

The mounts (9) remain in the body during removal of the paneling (8).

Installation: Install both mounts (9) on paneling (8).

Disassemble/assemble

Unclip covers (10) from rear shelf paneling (1).

Remove rear roller blind from paneling (8).

Unclip center high-mounted stop lamp (E21) from paneling (8) and remove associated electric wiring harness from paneling (8).

17

Assemble and install in the reverse order
