Loosen edge guard near the C-pillar trim (3).

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard is seated correctly.

Remove left or right head restraint in rear passenger compartment.

Unclip cover trim (1) from top to bottom, slide upwards, and remove.

Unclip guide rail (2) from the C-pillar trim (3) and fold in to center (arrow).

Unclip C-pillar trim (3) and remove in direction of travel.
