Remove/install paneling on C-pillar

Remove/Install

Remove edge guard (7) from left or right C-pillar in area of upper C-pillar paneling (1) and lower C-pillar paneling (2)

 Installation: Ensure that edge guard (7) is seated properly.

Remove cap (3) from seat belt guide bracket (5)

Unscrew bolt (4) from seat belt guide bracket (5) and remove seat belt guide bracket (5)

 Installation: Ensure that belt path is correctly routed.



Remove expanding clips (6)

On vehicles without code (I31) Flexible luggage compartment cover

 Installation: Install new expanding clips (6) to replace damaged ones.



Unclip upper C-pillar paneling (1) and remove

 Installation: Check clips on rear of upper C-pillar paneling (1), replace if necessary



Fold back rear bench seat

Model 454.0 without code (S33) Double folding rear bench seat (3 seats)

 On model 454.0 with code (S33) Double folding rear bench seat (3 seats): Move rear bench seat to front-most position, retract head restraints and fold over rear seat backrests.Then unlock rear bench seat on release lever and position vertically.

Fold floor covering (9) in trunk to side

Remove expanding clip (8).

 Installation: Replace damaged expanding clips (8)



Unclip lower C-pillar paneling (2) and remove

 Installation: Check clips on rear of lower C-pillar paneling (2), replace if necessary


