3.1 | Pull cover (3) up and off | On door sill moldings with illuminated AMG logo, code P011 or door sill moldings with illuminated MB logo, code P012 | |
4.1 | Remove edge guard (4) in area of door sill molding (1) | On door sill moldings with illuminated AMG logo, code P011 or door sill moldings with illuminated MB logo, code P012 | |
5.1 | Lift floor covering (5) and disconnect electrical connector | On door sill moldings with illuminated AMG logo, code P011 or door sill moldings with illuminated MB logo, code P012 | |

6 | Check clips (6) for damage | Replace defective clips (6). | |
| Install | ||
7 | Position door sill molding (1) on side outer longitudinal member (2) and align clips (6) with holes (6a) | On door sill moldings with illuminated AMG logo, code P011 or door sill moldings with illuminated MB logo, code P012: Route electrical feed line through half-round recess (A) in driver's footwell. | |
8 | Clip door sill molding (1) into side outer longitudinal member (2) | The brackets (7) should move into the rectangular recesses (7a). | |
9.1 | Arrest electrical connector in door sill molding (1) | On door sill moldings with illuminated AMG logo, code P011 or door sill moldings with illuminated MB logo, code P012 | |
Wrap felt tape around electrical connector. | |||
Anti-rattle tape (self-adhesive felt tape). | |||
